The Bottom Line

Life Images Magazine from Stampington & Company is one of those rare publications that catches you off guard. In short, Stampington & Company has managed to publish a high-quality art gallery in book form.

Guide Review - Review of Life Images Magazine

Life Images magazine is more than a random conglomeration of puppies and kittens while not straying into the realm of elitist avante-garde snobbery that all to often infects art publications. Within its 144 pages you will find photographs accompanied by quotes and original text by the photographers. Images range from pets to essays on abandoned houses. I am thrilled to see that the contributors used cameras ranging from point and shoot to DSLRs, proving once again that the photographer is more important than an expensive camera. Life Images is a magazine that takes the place of more expensive coffee table books.
